About the Owner
Gary Nercessian, Owner and Lead Technician
With over 20 years of Information Technology (IT) expertise, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Tech101. Holding up-to-date computer certifications and having held prominent roles at Telus, Bell, and Rogers, he has established a strong reputation in the industry. Before founding Tech101, Gary served as the Lead Technology Specialist at Staples in Cobourg, providing in-home and onsite business tech support, and was recognized as an Apple Master through training from Apple Canada in Toronto. Alongside his IT background, Gary is a graduate of Social Work Gerontology with formal studies in public relations and media production. Complemented by an Adult Teaching Certificate, his approach is always patient and client-centred. With a unique blend of information technology and social services experience, Gary imparts this philosophy to the on-call technicians who are equipped to handle the diverse technology needs of their communities. Alongside Gary's community engagements, where he gives public talks and collaborates with organizations like Community Centres and Chambers of Commerce, his vision is to ensure technology becomes seamlessly engaging, convenient, and consistently reliable for individuals and organizations.
